To enrol on this course, you should be 18 or over and already hold a relevant Level 3 beauty or aesthetics qualification, such as beauty therapy or our VTCT Level 3 Access to Aesthetics, or a medical qualification such as doctor, dentist, pharmacist or nurse, and be ready to progress into Level 4 aesthetic practice.

It is built around one unit, "Provide skin peeling treatments", which covers consultation, skin health checks, treatment planning, superficial peel products and techniques, and aftercare, plus an external practical examination with a VTCT assessor.

You need to be 18 or over and hold a relevant Level 3 beauty or aesthetics qualification, such as beauty therapy or our VTCT Level 3 Access to Aesthetics, or a medical qualification such as doctor, dentist, pharmacist or nurse. You can offer professional superficial chemical peels to paying clients, on a regulated Level 4 award you can take to your insurer. Many learners then add microneedling with our Level 4 microneedling course, or take both together in our Level 4 skin certificate, before moving on to Level 5 chemical peels.

The course is fast-track. Your e-learning opens as soon as you pay your deposit. You then attend 2 formative practical training days at our Orpington clinic, completing your case studies on live models with Clinicare professional peels, followed by your online theory exam and 1 end point assessment day with a VTCT assessor. Yes. Models are always supplied by the college, so you don't need to find your own for your practical training days. Classes are limited to 6 learners, so on your 2 practical days your tutor can guide you through every peel, from skin analysis to aftercare, as you complete your case studies and build confidence before your end point assessment.

No. A CPD chemical skin peel short course shows you a technique in a day. This is a regulated VTCT Level 4 award, with an online theory exam and an external practical assessment by a VTCT assessor. You should hold CPD (or similar) accreditation in chemical skin peels, have 2 years' experience and be able to provide 10 case studies.
