VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Develop gentle, rhythmic lymphatic drainage massage techniques, with case studies and qualification assessments. VTCT recommends prior Level 3 massage or body-treatment training, or an equivalent qualification.

Study the theory online, then attend tutor-led practical training at our Orpington clinic. Models are supplied for practical training. Each qualification has its own training, portfolio and assessment requirements.

Admissions will help you plan your dates and the order of study, including checking your readiness for lymphatic drainage massage.

This package suits learners who want to build a massage treatment menu and therapists who want to broaden their skills. Admissions will review your existing qualifications and plan the right sequence with you.

The lymphatic drainage certificate has different entry recommendations from the other courses: VTCT recommends a Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage, a Level 3 Diploma in Body Treatments or equivalent. The team will assess your background before you enrol on that qualification.

Each course leads to its own VTCT qualification and has separate assessment requirements. These include practical and theory assessment and evidence of your treatments.

For the lymphatic drainage certificate, the portfolio includes nine documented treatments across three clients, alongside external practical and theory examinations. Admissions and your tutors will explain the requirements and assessment arrangements for each course.

Build your skills for massage work in salons, spas, wellness settings or your own practice, subject to your insurer's requirements. Each course covers a different treatment, helping you offer clients a wider choice and develop your professional practice.

The package includes four VTCT Level 3 qualifications: the Award in Body Massage, Award in Indian Head Massage, Award in Massage using Pre-Blended Aromatherapy Oils, and Certificate in Lymphatic Drainage Massage. Each qualification has its own learning and assessment requirements.

Admissions will check your experience and help you plan the order of training. VTCT recommends a Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage, a Level 3 Diploma in Body Treatments or an equivalent qualification for the lymphatic drainage certificate. Speak to the team about whether your background and planned progression meet that recommendation.

You study the theory online and attend practical training at our Orpington clinic, with tutor guidance and models supplied. You complete the required case studies, portfolios and assessments for each qualification. Admissions will help you arrange the course and assessment dates.

The package is £3,750 including VAT. At £1,500 each, the four courses would cost £6,000 individually, so the package saves £2,250. Ask admissions about available payment options when arranging your training.

Your timeline depends on course dates, your study commitments and the time needed to complete case studies and assessments. Admissions will discuss the sequence and help you plan your training.
