You then attend 2 practical days at our Orpington clinic, in a group of up to 6 students, where your tutor guides you as you practise Indian head massage on models. Your theory exam is taken remotely online, so it is not a class day. A final day at the clinic is your end point assessment.

You complete an external practical examination, an external theory examination and a portfolio of evidence that includes treatment evidence from 4 treatments. The theory exam is taken remotely online. Your final practical assessment takes place with a VTCT assessor at the end of the course. The qualification is graded Pass, Merit or Distinction.

Yes. We supply models for your practical training, so you work on real clients under the supervision of your tutor. You are also welcome to bring your own model. Your tutor guides you through consultation, choosing a massage medium, classical Indian head massage movements and adapting the treatment to each client, so you can build the treatment evidence you need for your portfolio.
