Wood Therapy Training in London

This course is open to beginners and working therapists. You need all of the following:

• to be aged 18 or over
• good written and spoken English

Previous beauty or massage experience is helpful but not essential.

You start with our e-learning, completed at least two days before your practical day at our clinic. Your session time is shown on the date cards. You train in a group of 4 learners and treat model clients we supply.

Our wood therapy course gives you in-depth training in a full-body massage technique using wooden tools, which you can add to your existing massage or body treatments.

You learn health and safety, anatomy and physiology, cellulite and the lymphatic system in theory, the history of wood therapy, oils and products, how to use each wooden tool, step-by-step routines for the back, abdomen, legs, glutes and arms, tool hygiene, consent forms, aftercare, industry regulation and insurance.

You start with our e-learning, which you complete at least two days before your practical training. You then attend a practical day at our Orpington clinic, where you watch your tutor demonstrate first and then carry out treatments yourself. Session times are shown on the date cards on this page.

Yes. We supply models for your practical training, so you treat real clients under the supervision of your tutor. You train in a group of 4 learners, so your tutor can guide every step, from consultation and assessment to technique, safety and aftercare.

Yes. When you complete the e-learning and your practical training, you receive a CPD-accredited certificate in wood therapy. It shows the training you have completed. For a regulated massage qualification, our VTCT Level 3 Award in Body Massage is our recommended route. Students get 10% off future training with us.

The price shown on this page is all-inclusive, with VAT and certificate fees included, so there is nothing extra to pay. A £250 deposit secures your place, with the balance due 14 days before you start. You can also pay in full, pay with Klarna (interest free) or apply for Snap Finance (subject to status). Combine courses totalling £3,000 or more to spread the cost.

You train at our clinic at 3 Locks Court, 429 Crofton Road, Locksbottom, Orpington, Kent BR6 8NL, in the London Borough of Bromley. It is about 17 minutes by train from London Bridge and Victoria. Your theory is online, so you only travel in for your practical day.
