• to be a doctor, nurse or dentist, or a beauty therapist with advanced injectables training;
• to be already delivering injectable treatments, with at least six months of injecting experience;
• to have completed cannula training, such as our Cannula Masterclass;
• to be aged 18 or over with a good command of English.

The PLLA Collagen Stimulators training course at the Cosmetic College is delivered in two parts.

E-learning

The training course starts with our e-learning course which covers the anatomy, physiology, background and applicable uses of PLLA collagen stimulators. Complete your e-learning in full at least two days before your practical training.

Onsite training

Onsite training focuses on the practical treatment applications of PLLA collagen stimulators. Your session time is shown on the date cards below. Within the practical training, you will be able to observe end to end treatments by your tutor prior to performing end to end treatments on a model client for yourself.

This is a CPD course. It builds on your dermal filler and cannula training. This course is for practising injectors. You need to be a doctor, nurse or dentist, or a beauty therapist with advanced injectables training, already delivering injectable treatments with at least six months of injecting experience. You also need cannula training, such as our Cannula Masterclass, and to be 18 or over.

You train with two poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) products, Sculptra and Aesplla. You learn how PLLA works in the skin, the differences between the two products and when to use each, plus dilution, dosing, injection depth, client assessment, complications and when to refer, and aftercare.

You start with our e-learning, which you complete at least two days before your practical training. You then attend a practical session at our Orpington clinic, where you watch your tutor demonstrate first and then carry out treatments yourself. Session times are shown on the date cards on this page.

Yes. We supply models for your practical training, so you treat real clients under the supervision of your tutor. You train in a group of 4 learners, so your tutor can guide every step, from consultation and assessment to technique, safety and aftercare.

Yes. When you complete the e-learning and your practical training, you receive a CPD-accredited certificate in PLLA collagen stimulators. It shows the training you have completed. If you want to go further in injectables, our VTCT Level 7 Diploma in Non-surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures is the next step. Students get 10% off future training with us.

The price shown on this page is all-inclusive, with VAT and certificate fees included, so there is nothing extra to pay. A £250 deposit secures your place, with the balance due 14 days before you start. You can also pay in full, pay with Klarna (interest free) or apply for Snap Finance (subject to status). You train at our clinic at 3 Locks Court, 429 Crofton Road, Locksbottom, Orpington, Kent BR6 8NL, in the London Borough of Bromley. It is about 17 minutes by train from London Bridge and Victoria. Your theory is online, so you only travel in for your practical training.
