What you'll need to join:

This qualification builds both the theory and the practical skill to deliver two of the most sought-after rejuvenation treatments safely and confidently - microneedling and superficial chemical peels - to a nationally recognised, regulated standard.

You'll master five mandatory units:

• Principles, Practices and Ethical Considerations - Understand your professional, legal and ethical responsibilities as a Level 4 aesthetic practitioner.
• Consultative Techniques - Run thorough, structured client consultations, including history-taking, skin analysis and informed consent.
• Dermatological Science - Build the anatomy, physiology and skin-science foundation that underpins safe, effective treatment.
• Skin Needling for Skin Rejuvenation - Deliver microneedling to target fine lines, texture and scarring, with strict hygiene and consistent technique.
• Superficial Chemical Peels for Skin Rejuvenation - Use superficial peels to improve tone, brightness and texture, managing pre-care, aftercare and risk throughout.

Delivery: A fast-track programme over 12 weeks, combining guided online pre-study with 4 days of intensive, hands-on training on live models in a real clinical setting. Completing within 12 weeks depends on submitting coursework on time and passing your assignments, exam and practical assessments first time.

Upon successfully completing all theoretical and practical assessments, you’ll be able to progress to the VTCT Level 5 Certificate in Non-surgical Aesthetic Procedures for Skin
