• Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal English skills.

Embark on your journey to achieving the VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Award in Plasma Pen Techniques. The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Award in Plasma Pen Techniques is a beauty aesthetic qualification aimed at level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add Plasma Pen Techniques to their repertoire of treatment offerings.

Learners are required to hold a level 3 beauty therapy qualification or an appropriate access to aesthetics qualification or equivalent.

What does this qualification cover?

This qualification is informed by employers and national and international standards for aesthetic beauty and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a fully qualified Plasma Pen practitioner.

Learners must achieve the mandatory unit:

• Enhance appearance using plasma pen techniques

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant requirements, regulations and safe practice treatment protocols for plasma pen techniques. Learners will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to consult with clients, and provide specific aftercare and home care advice.

You will be required to produce a portfolio of evidence, including written assignments and 6 case studies. Case studies are completed onsite at the college. Once your onsite practical training is complete you will need to complete e-learning and written assignments.

Finally, to complete the course you will need to sit and pass the external theory and practical examinations.

The total duration of the course is three days of online/onsite theory and practical training.

• Day 1: Practical Onsite Training
• Day 2: Practical Onsite Training
• Day 3: Examination
• Day 4: End Point Assessment

Attendance is required from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

At the Cosmetic College we have two Level 4 Plasma Pen cohort groups that begin in each calendar month.

The first group starts in the first week of the month and the second group in the last week of the month.

In each cohort, we limit the number of students to six to ensure the group size is at the best level to enhance your training experience.

This training course includes a Plasma Pen. This equips and empowers you to start working with your clients on successful completion of your training.
