The VTCT Level 5 Award in Radiofrequency Microneedling Treatments is a regulated, advanced qualification designed for practitioners who already hold microneedling competence and want to progress into radiofrequency-assisted treatments.

This qualification focuses on clinical decision-making, parameter selection, complication management, and professional documentation, ensuring learners can deliver RF microneedling treatments safely and in line with insurance, legal, and professional standards.

Training is delivered through mandatory pre-study, supervised practical attendance, structured case study development, and an externally assessed endpoint examination.

This qualification is suitable for:

You can offer RF microneedling to paying clients in clinic, the device step up from standard needling, on a regulated Level 5 award. When you are ready, our Level 5 skin certificate adds advanced peels, advanced skin needling, needle mesotherapy and LED phototherapy, and is the step before Level 7.

Your e-learning opens as soon as you pay your deposit, and you submit one written assignment at least two weeks before your practical days. You then attend two supervised practical days at our Orpington clinic, completing at least 6 case studies on live models.
