HIFU Face and Body Training: One-Day CPD Course

This course is suitable for medics and non-medics. You need all of the following:

• to be aged 18 or over
• a good command of English

A Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy or equivalent, and previous skin and facial training, are recommended. If you are new to the industry, we suggest our Facial and Skincare course first.

You start with our e-learning, completed at least two days before your practical day at our clinic. Your session time is shown on the date cards. You train in a group of 4 learners and treat model clients we supply.

HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy delivered beneath the surface of the skin, without breaking the outer skin. On this course you learn how it works, which clients it suits and who it does not, how to choose settings and cartridges, and how to deliver face treatments and non-invasive body treatments safely.

You learn the anatomy and physiology of the skin, how HIFU works, skin laxity, collagen and elastin, wound healing, choosing equipment and cartridges, face and body treatment areas, duration and protocols, client suitability and assessment, contraindications, risks and side effects. You watch your tutor demonstrate first, then treat model clients yourself.

Yes. After your e-learning, you attend one practical day at our Orpington clinic. Your tutor demonstrates first, then you treat models yourself in a group of 4.

No. You receive a CPD-accredited certificate in HIFU for the face and body. The regulated route is our VTCT Level 4 Award in HIFU, compared above.

Yes. We supply models for your practical training, so you treat real clients under the supervision of your tutor. You train in a group of 4 learners, so your tutor can guide every step, from consultation and assessment to technique, safety and aftercare.

The price shown on this page is all-inclusive, with VAT and certificate fees included, so there is nothing extra to pay. A £250 deposit secures your place, with the balance due 14 days before you start. You can also pay in full, pay with Klarna (interest free) or apply for Snap Finance (subject to status). Combine courses totalling £3,000 or more to spread the cost.

You train at our clinic at 3 Locks Court, 429 Crofton Road, Locksbottom, Orpington, Kent BR6 8NL, in the London Borough of Bromley. It is about 17 minutes by train from London Bridge and Victoria. Your theory is online, so you only travel in for your practical day.
