This course is open to learners with or without a medical background, subject to the entry requirements below. You can enrol if:

• you are a nurse, doctor or dentist with current NMC, GMC or GDC registration;
• or you hold a Level 3 or Level 4 beauty or micropigmentation qualification.

You do not need injecting experience.

Pre-study via e-learning

Complete your e-learning before you attend. It covers facial anatomy, consultation, safety and the foundations of dermal filler technique.

Onsite practical days

Your tutor assesses your treatments on your model clients across your practical days, covering consultation, technique, safety and aftercare. There is no exam on the day. Once you complete the e-learning and both days, you receive your CPD-accredited certificate.

Yes. We supply live models for your practical days, so you treat real clients under the guidance and supervision of experienced tutors. You train in a group of 4 learners, so your tutor can watch every treatment closely, from consultation and assessment to technique, safety and aftercare.

The foundation course covers four areas: lips, perioral lines, nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines. You also learn facial anatomy, danger zones, infection control, consent and documentation, and complication awareness and management, including when to refer a client for medical care.

You start with our e-learning, which you complete before you attend. You then spend two days at our Orpington clinic: a practical training day and a practical observations day. You watch live demonstrations by your tutor, then treat model clients yourself. Session times are shown on the date cards.

Yes. When you complete the e-learning and your practical training, you receive a CPD-accredited certificate in foundation dermal fillers. It shows the training you have completed. If you want to go further in injectables, our VTCT Level 7 Diploma in Non-surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures is the next step.

The government plans a licensing scheme for cosmetic procedures in England, and facial fillers are among the procedures it has proposed to include. The detail is not in force yet. We keep our training in line with current guidance and will update learners as the rules develop. Check with your insurer before you treat clients.

The price shown on this page is all-inclusive, with VAT and certificate fees included, so there is nothing extra to pay. A £250 deposit secures your place, with the balance due 14 days before you start. You can also pay in full, pay with Klarna (interest free) or apply for Snap Finance (subject to status). You train at our clinic at 3 Locks Court, 429 Crofton Road, Locksbottom, Orpington, Kent BR6 8NL, in the London Borough of Bromley. It is about 17 minutes by train from London Bridge and Victoria. Your theory is online, so you only travel in for your two practical days.
