Learners must:

• Hold a Level 4 qualification in Microneedling (or equivalent aesthetic qualification)
• Provide evidence of Anatomy & Physiology at Level 3 or above
• Be aged 18+

Learners who do not meet entry requirements cannot be enrolled.

The VTCT Level 5 Award in Radiofrequency Microneedling Treatments is a regulated, advanced qualification designed for practitioners who already hold microneedling competence and want to progress into radiofrequency-assisted treatments.

This qualification focuses on clinical decision-making, parameter selection, complication management, and professional documentation, ensuring learners can deliver RF microneedling treatments safely and in line with insurance, legal, and professional standards.

Training is delivered through mandatory pre-study, supervised practical attendance, structured case study development, and an externally assessed endpoint examination.

This qualification is suitable for:

• Qualified microneedling practitioners progressing into RF technology

Pre Study

Must be completed at least 48 hours before practical attendance.

Written Assignment

• Submitted a minimum of two weeks before practical attendance

Day 1 - Theory Consolidation & Practical Foundation

Day 2 - Supervised Case Study Practice

Case Study Requirements

Learners must complete a minimum of 6 supervised case studies on site, including:

• Full consultation documentation

All case studies contribute to the VTCT portfolio of evidence.
