This course is suitable for both medics and non-medics. You can enrol if you meet one of the following:

• you are a nurse, doctor or dentist with current NMC, GMC or GDC registration;
• you hold a Level 3 beauty therapy qualification (NVQ or VTCT) or an HND;
• you have 12 months of needling experience, or 6 months of needling experience plus a Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology qualification.

This training course at the Cosmetic College is delivered in two parts.

E-learning

The training course starts with our e-learning course which covers the anatomy, physiology, background and applicable uses of intramuscular vitamin injections. Complete your e-learning in full at least two days before your practical training.

Onsite training

Onsite training focuses on the practical treatment applications of intramuscular vitamin injections. Your session time is shown on the date cards below. Within the practical training, you will be able to observe end to end treatments by your tutor prior to performing end to end treatments on a model client for yourself.

You train in a group of 4 learners.

The course covers intramuscular injection of vitamin B12, biotin, vitamin C and glutathione, the anatomy and physiology of the skin and tissues, injection sites and technique, consultation and consent, infection control, sharps and hazardous waste, first aid and recognising anaphylaxis, clinical set up and aftercare. You watch live demonstrations by your tutor, then treat model clients yourself.

You start with our e-learning, which you complete at least two days before your practical training. You then attend a practical session at our Orpington clinic, where you watch your tutor demonstrate first and then carry out treatments yourself. Session times are shown on the date cards on this page.

Yes. We supply models for your practical training, so you treat real clients under the supervision of your tutor. You train in a group of 4 learners, so your tutor can guide every step, from consultation and assessment to technique, safety and aftercare.

Yes. When you complete the e-learning and your practical training, you receive a CPD-accredited certificate in intramuscular vitamin injections. It shows the training you have completed. Many learners go on to add other injectable treatments, and Pathway to Aesthetics shows the full route from Level 3 to Level 7. Students get 10% off future training with us.

The price shown on this page is all-inclusive, with VAT and certificate fees included, so there is nothing extra to pay. You train at our clinic at 3 Locks Court, 429 Crofton Road, Locksbottom, Orpington, Kent BR6 8NL, in the London Borough of Bromley. It is about 17 minutes by train from London Bridge and Victoria. Your theory is online, so you only travel in for your practical training.
